At Conlin Construction Services ("CCS"), we provide our clients with personal, quality enriched service, based on an on-time and under budget project delivery. Beginning in 1987, CCS has developed a wide variety of projects including commercial, residential, multi-family and retail.

Over the last 19 years, we have developed long-term relationships with a wide variety of professionals in the Greater Des Moines construction market. Those relationships have developed over our long history of quality developments. These professionals can benefit clients of CCS by insuring a project that is design built by Des Moines' best craftsmen to our exacting standard for quality and budget.

Past Projects

Conlin Construction began in 1987 as The Phoenix Group, Ltd. As The Phoenix Group, it developed several Des Moines area apartment complexes, as well as four retail stores, and a large single-family home development in Norwalk, Iowa. Projects include:

Fort South Apartments - 48 apartment units in Des Moines, IA. Built in two phases
Lakewood Pointe Estates - Large single family housing development in Norwalk, IA. Several single family homes were constructed by CCS as well
Southbrook Green Apartments - 98 apartments units in Des Moines, IA. Built in two phases
Douglas Woods Apartments - 56 apartment units in Des Moines, IA
Pleasantview Townhomes - 30 townhomes in Des Moines, IA
Venbury Trail Apartments - 96 units in Altoona, IA
The Pinnacle at Country Club - 138 townhome and condominium units currently under development in Clive, IA
Deer Ridge Apartments - 200 apartments units in Des Moines, IA. Built in four phases
Windfield West Apartments - 97 apartment units in Waukee, IA. Built in three phases
Parkside East Apartments - 146 apartment units in Des Moines, IA. Built in four phases
The Harrington - 36 efficiency Historic Rehab units in Des Moines, IA.
Canterbury Park II - 49 apartment units in Pleasant Hill, IA.

Current Projects

CCS is presently developing four large apartment projects in Greater Des Moines including Parkside East on the eastern border of Des Moines, which includes 145 units, Windfield West in Waukee, Iowa, in Dallas County, the fastest growing county in the State of Iowa, which includes 97 units, Canterbury Park in Pleasant Hill with 175 units, as well as Deer Ridge, located on the western border of Des Moines, which includes 200 units. These four projects, are all multi-phase projects which have been well received by the Des Moines rental market. All four are being delivered ahead of schedule and below budget. CCS is also currently working on a historic rehab project in Des Moines' Sherman Hill historic neighborhood, which is slated to open in the fall of 2007.

In addition, Conlin Construction Services is developing the last undeveloped section of Country Club Lake in the City of Clive, Iowa. This development, The Pinnacle at Country Club, includes 138 townhome and condominium units. These units include expansive walk-out townhome units opening onto the lake, as well as luxurious condominium units overlooking the beautiful Des Moines Golf and Country Club. This development is one of Des Moines' premier luxury housing areas.
